The Goal

Design a flyer to bring awareness to Bonton Farm’s financial programs.

My Role

Graphic Designer

Project Duration

1 week

Background

This project was carried out in collaboration with Bonton Farms and carried out remotely. Bonton Farms wanted to have a flyer to promote their programs to empower members in their community to gain the skills for financial wellness. The copy, logo, and image was provided by the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Discuss the style guides and format

  • Gather digital assets

  • Provide 3 different design drafts

  • Iterate the designs

Initial Design

After receiving the copy and images for the project, I began to work on three different design drafts.

I wanted to make the information on the Financial Wellness and Empowerment Program course stand out so views could quickly distinguish what they could learn from the program.

Edits and Outcome

The main feedback was:

  1. Find a way to highlight the Savings Income Program and the Microloan Program.

Once the first draft of the designs were complete, Bonton Farms gave feedback.

Because the content of those programs were not broken down into multiple parts like the Financial Wellness and Empowerment Program, I changed the weight of the typography and added color to make it stand out. This led to the final design:
